Koothupalli

Koothupalli is a place where traditional folklore drama is taught for young people and practiced by experts. It also houses the retired elderly masters in a peaceful serene setting.

Koothu is an art form to be preserved, documented and practiced by the young generation; and we designed a space where the architecture too represents and relives old traditional building techniques and built with natural building materials like mud& bamboo. This project is yet to harvest the light at site!
